Etienne and I had crossed paths for a few years before our romantic journey began. Despite attending the same high school, our paths never really crossed.

It wasn't until 2017 when a mutual friend introduced us. We were drawn to each other but the romantic flame didn't ignite until much later.

Fast forward to September 2018, when Etienne and some friends planned a night of dancing and invited me along. Initially hesitant to teach me how to dance, Etienne eventually asked me to join him on the dance floor at Weiveld.

That first dance sparked something magical between us. We spent the entire night lost in each other's company, dancing the night away.

Our shared love for dancing brought us closer over the following weeks, as we twirled, laughed, and shared sneaky kisses on the dance floor.

It became clear that our hearts desired only each other's company, leading us to officially start dating on October 13, 2018.
